How do you deal with a student who has a crush on you?

There is a particular female student in my senior math class who likes to play with my head. Not sure whether or not it is a crush, but today when i caught her looking over at a friend's paper during an exam I gave her, ';the glare';. She stared back deeply into my eyes with a sly smile and then winked. I was embarrased so I turned away. How do I deal with these situations? How do you deal with a student who has a crush on you?
Don't jeopardize your career for some little flirty tease.

Call her into the headmaster/principal/dean's office and have a frank talk.

Nip it in the bud, or the next thing you know, you'll be the one called in for making a pass at her. Girls like this are trouble. How do you deal with a student who has a crush on you?
tell your superior, don't make it some seedy secret it will look worse in the long run :)
you just pretend her to be just another student like the rest of them. Think about her having the possibility of having the clap, for example.
Tell your supervisor. As long as she doesn't say/do anything explicitly, you should be all right. Otherwise, try to avoid being alone with her.
you should have a ';hahahaha.. NO'; attitude
You must like her too if you had to ask about it, just ignore her.
Do not respond at all. If you give her a, what ever look, she will think you don't care and that's what you want. If it continues you may want to call her aside and let her know you feel this is very wrong of her to be doing and you have absolutely no interest at all.
lolol keep it in your pants learn about boundaries
Well first don't let her play with your head. On your shoulders right?

Sounds like a crush and sounds like she thinks your crushing on her as well. So make it known that you are the teacher and she is a student. That's it. Or she may be telling her friends otherwise who may in turn tell others and on and on...until you're fired for inappropriate behavior.
You must be praying for her 18th birthday, huh pervert. The fact that you would have to ask this question means you have pedo fantasies about this ';student';
You absolutely need to report this if you don't it could become ugly b/c she could turn it on you. If you can I would see if she could get another teacher, absolutely never be alone with her, don't buy into her high school crap and let the principle know that it's uncomfortable and extremely inappropriate behavior. don't want to end up being an example on the news do you.
And did you let her get away with her cheating?

It seems as though this would have been a good time to teach her some integrity.

Why didn't you make an example out of her by taking away her paper and throwing it into the trash can?

You just taught her that as long as she is provocative and alluring, that she can get away with whatever she wants to.

After high school she will probably get a job and sleep her way to the top of the company.

What would you have wanted your daughter's male teacher to have done in that situation? Think about it, and that will tell you what you should have done.

One thing further: if you are going to allow teenage girls to mess with your head that way, you should consider finding another occupation. Quickly, before you get into serious trouble.

You can bet that she and all her friends are laughing at you right now, and rumors will be flying. Messing with your head will probably become the new game.
We learn how to get what we want so early. Clever girl.
To stop this situation address it immediately. Why allow a child to embarrass you? I would have said, do you have something in your eye? If this is a pervasive and frequent situation, speak with your supervisor and come up with a plan to resolve the issue. I recommend you make it clear that she is not cute, not funny, and that you are not interested in her childishness neither physically or mentally. Perhaps it is time for a parent/teacher conference. That is sure to stop her in her tracks. Is it possible to tranfer her to another class?
Im not a teacher -but - you should probably talk to her about it - with someone else present - just to cover yourself. You probably don't want to end up in the paper as another one of ';those'; teachers.
Don't let a silly kid ruin your life forever ! You know how bad rumor travel.
This is how:
