I have developed a crush on somebody really unsuitable, in the past there have been barriers (such as them being married) whereas in this instance, the person is single and I just cant get it out of my head. Any suggestions on what to do?How should I deal with this unsuitable crush?

If you like them go for it seems like theres nothing stopping you now. But if you don't. Just move on because its only a crush you will have plenty more
If there are no barriers, you should act on your feelings.. If you know your crush doesnt like you in the same way, develop a friend ship and you just might be suprised... either you will stop liking him or he will start liking you, either way you will get to find out

without more info it's hard to say. Why is this person unsuitable? not in your circle of friends? A friends ex? a siblings ex?! (eww) Anlayse whether this person really is unsuitable.
You have a number of options:
1. Ignore your crush and carry on as normal (agonising over them until time has passed)
2. speak to them and tell them how you feel
3. Find yourself someone else to have a crush on

well based on what is mentioned above, the only way you can do (I think is) to get busy, think of other things, hang out with your friends, or do other things to get your mind off of him
The only way ive ever got over a crush is to keep away from the person completly its hard and takes time to get over but its been the only way that worked for me.
Go clubbing and find someone under 30!
A 38 year old just won't believe his luck with a 19! You can easily get some fit young man.
Main trouble is his/your friends will have little in common.
