How can I deal with a crush on a teacher?

First of all: I know it's going to go nowhere, that it'd be completely inappropriate, and I absolutely do not intend on acting on it. Just saying.





I'm 17, and for the past year or so, have had a crush on one of my teachers. I hated at her first - she's really immature and laid back, and pretty much everything else I can't stand in a person. But after a while it became.. sort of endearing, I guess? I feel so stupid for it, but I even took another class she taught this year just to have her again.





I think it's more of a girl crush than anything else, because it's (mostly) platonic, and I've never really been attracted to girls before. But I always find myself spacing off and thinking about her during the day. I blush and get nervous whenever I'm around her, and I'm so paranoid about it that I even go out of my way to complain about her to my friends so they won't suspect anything. :/





Anyone have any advice to help me get over it? I know it's just an infatuation, but it's really bothering me.How can I deal with a crush on a teacher?

then i mean dont get serioud or anything cause thats just wrong. But try to ask the counsler to have a class without her so you dont get distracted, or when your in her class, try not to focus on her, but the work. Try not to notice her. Or find someone else that is really cute and maybe your attention will not be on your teacher anymore.

First of all...DON'T GET INVOLVED WITH A TEACHER. She could land up in prison if you did anything. Don't end up like Mary Kay Letorneau and her student that she ended up having children with.

dude chill out, i had crushes on my teachers before too. they were really cute.
Well you can always do what my brother did and just go up and ask her on a date. (my brother did it as a joke)





As with all crush's they eventually fade and die.
Get involved in schoolwork and other activities that have nothing to do with this woman or school

Well the thing you know is that it won't go anywhere, which is good.


Cause if something did happen between student/teacher, she could lose her job and your reputation could be scarred.


Don't feed into it. Crushes are normal. I had a few on some teachers of mine, also.


You're also dealing with feelings for someone of the same sex for the first time so it's probably double-confusing.


Just be cool. It'll be fine.
Maybe one day it,ll happen with her but it,ll have to be after u leave school !!!
Infatuation is short term and so this is classed as obsession.





I'd remember that you're just 17. Incapable of ever having a relationship with this woman.

You may think its a crush but often times people confuse their feelings for someone by over-analyzing them. You probably see something in her that is like you and it just makes you want to get to know her. Instead, go out with your friends your age more and try working out and studying really hard for another class.
So you both are female and youre 17 and she's 24. If all you do is daydream about her, thats harmless. Dont take it any further than that because that would be a conflict.
i think u should first realize there is no way you could have a relationship shes a trusted teacher ur a student i think u should try 2 meet a girl your age who shares interests and stuff or find someone who u know will hold what u tell them in the strictest confidence good luck xx
Don't take any more of her classes and give it time. Eventually you will get over it, but it will take some time.

7 years isn't bad, i'm also 17 and i met a 22 yr. old at a college party i went to a few nights ago (i have to sneak out to do it but hey, my parents wouldn't allow it anyway)

Holy Crap! Please tell me she is not more than 10 years older than you. If your 17 and you haven't liked a whole lot of girls before then I think it's just hormones.
rub your d'i'c'k on her desk draws and other things she has to touch that way when she does you can laugh to yourself and think she touching your tool

Anyways no matter what is your gender... A teacher is there to TEACH you only, and you are there just to LEARN... falling in love with her is a really immature behavior so you'd better fill the gap inside of you... Don't let it control you! talk to her and act nice with her just don't over react and don't spend too much time with her outside the class or session...

all i gotta say is dont let them know you have a crush on them cause in these days and times that teacher might have a crush on you too....
when you think about your teacher then you just think of something really horible like a grosse warty frog or something like that i used to haave a crush on this guy and i could never get any work done so i just pictured him as a really ugly troll looking thing evrytime i looked at him





either that or just keep reminding your self of all of her bad traits that you said you didnt like and keep reminding your self that you dont like those things.





have you ever seen the secret well it teaches you about how to get exactly what you want. and one of the things is like if you wanted to go out with the teacher then just tell your self that you two will go out and ppicture the two of you having dinner or something and vise versa if you want the crush to end then just think to our self like ';its never gonna happen shes 24 and im 17 its never gonna happen'; and then picture her like hating you or something
