How do I deal with a crush on a co-worker?

I have a crush on a co-worker, who is many years younger than me. We see each other at least 3 to 4 times a day, and most times I get a warm, nodding smile. And then sometimes, I get a blank nod. When we get to talk, it only deals with work, since others are around, but our eye contact seems mutual. Because of us being co-workers, the age gap, and my not being sure one way or the other, I am stuck on what I need to do to find out one way or the other if we feel the same. If I say something, and he doesn't feel the same, it could create a very big problem at work. I have a few ideas on what I need to do, and I'm asking for your input. Be nice and act cute. Let him make the first move. Advances made by someone older to someone younger come across differently that the other way around. If he approaches you first, then things are fine. But if you approach him first and it isn't mutual, things can get a bit dicey and word could get around that you're ';creepy';. Well, then please dont try to get with him cuz I dont think he would appreciate a older gay man crushing on him. For a young guy, that would seem weird. NO offence
If the age gap is huge then he might also not be interested, what u can do is to see him less during the day and try to concentrate more on ur work than thinking of him! just keep ur mind off him and indulge in some other activity! hope it helps.
