How do I deal with a crush on my teacher(s)?

So, I have a crush on two of my teachers. One of them is not that much older than me, he's in his early twenties, and he's engaged. The other is maybe in his late twenties or early thirties, and he says he's single.


It's a kind of puppy-dog love, and I would never act on it, because I know it's illegal and I could ruin the teacher's life. It's still so frustrating to have a crush on someone who is around me almost every day, yet I have no chance with him.


I tell myself there's no point in thinking about him, nothing's ever going to happen between us. But I can't help myself. I can't choose who I fall for.





Is there any way I can maybe find a way to get over them?How do I deal with a crush on my teacher(s)?
Trust me, it's not easy. People say ';oh, just find someone your own age and you'll forget all about that other person'; Well, it isn't easy. All I had to do was sit it out and I can't say it's gone away 100%, but I've moved on. I think patience is key in this kind of situation.How do I deal with a crush on my teacher(s)?

imagine them taking a big crap on the toilet, make it a porta-potty, really dirty one at that. Just gross. That should get you over them.
ive had that too haha. but do not start anything with ur teachers. i suggest going over the qualities of WHY u like ur teachers, and try to find a boy your age that fits those qualities.
go out in town for a while look for idk guys you think are ';hot'; (im a guy i dont like saying it about guys) and just keep looking til you see one you would probably like i guess

This is a tough one. I don't think there's an easy way to just stop liking them, but what would help take your mind off of it would probably be to find another guy to go out with. Like, a guy you like and everything. Or it doesn't even have to be a guy--just find something to take your mind off them so being with them isn't uncomfortable.


What I find helpful for getting my mind off of things is writing. I like poetry; I'll usually write a poem to someone (obviously not showing it to them), telling them exactly what's on my mind. If you're not a fan of poetry, you could do the whole Write-A-Letter-But-Don't-Send-It thing, or paint your feelings, or anything to release pent up emotion. It's incredible how theraputic art can be.
you could try telling them that you have a crush on them and then they will probably make you switch classes if they dont you can ask to switch but keep in mind you probably are not the only person who has a crush on them
you will about to forget about the teachers... get a job, join the gym and get a real boyfriend.

It sounds like you've come to the right answer yourself. Many people have crushes on their teachers through the course of their educations. You are right, however, that you can't act on your crushes. The best way I can think of to get over them is just to acknowledge the fact that sometimes reality gets in the way of fantasies, and realize the truth of your above post: ';I have no chance with him.'; You have no chance not becuase you are in any way lacking, but because of your respective ages and employements. Good luck.
Don't go there...you'll only get hurt and get the other person fired from their job. That's the thing today, the teachers are not much older than the students...not a good thing.





I doubt that you will stop thinking about him if you are in his class..unless you transfer to another class.





Everyone has a 'crush' on someone now and then (hormones..part of growing up). I remember mine at


12 yrs with a pop star and a few others later on in life. It's pure fantasy..that's all crushes are...not the real thing.





I suggest you find another interest at school whether it be sports or an interest outside of school hours. Better still..as boring as it may sound put all your energy into studying.

But yeah, I understand how theyre important to you right now -i had a huge, disgusting crush on my health teacher..and it was seriously annoying(specially wen hes talking bout reproducing) but yeah, hes in his late 20s and he has a toddler..His wife comes to visit him sometimes and I see how happy he is..So I cant help but feel happy for him..Neways, I guess TIME just made me get over him..





I havve an aunt whos 43 right now and shes happily married to her student teacherr in middle school who was 19 at the time wen she was in 8th grade (she was 13) Wat happened was she decided to look him up on facebook or friendster (you can laugh!xD) and they met up nd she told him bout her crush on him nd stuff///you can guess as to wat happened next...

man i used to have one of those... it is hard but you just have to deal with the fact that liking an older guy is no biggie. we all do it. but you also have to know that you will never get a chance with him. so don't worry about it to much. try to find a favorite person, like a Beatle ;] and think about him instead!... but not George, he is mine
